XIV edition of GMC gathered more than 420 participating teams. General sponsors of the project were: Bank Zachodni WBK, KPMG and Orange Poland. This edition were unique due to use of the extended version of the simulator.

National finals of the Polish GMC took place on March 31st in the Hall of New Connect Stock Exchange. Eight best teams were competing with each other to get the first place. Teams were represented by employees of: Bank Zachodni WBK, Carrefour Poland, NetWorkS!, and students from Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw (sponsored by KPMG, THINKTANK and markapracodawcy.pl)

In the final round the best investment performance was achieved by MDSP team, sponsored by KPMG, Mateusz Matuszewski and Przemysław Przybyszewski  – students  from Warsaw School of Economics. Winning team MDSP received statue and from Filip Stachura who won 2nd place in the world final of the GMC in 2013. In addition to the reward, team members received invitations to the post-graduate studies at Kozminski University.

The ceremony of announcing the final results was held in Trading Floor of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Other teams received awards and diplomas from: Grzegorz Steinke (HR Director, Orange Poland), Leszek Wroński, (Partner, KPMG), Beata Pietrzykowska-Stachnik (HR Director, Bank Zachodni WBK), Ewa Barlink (Press spokesman of Kozminski University), Joao Fereira (representative of the global GMC organizer , SDG company), Łukasz Zawitkowski (team leader that won 2nd place in the world final of the GMC in 2005), Piotr Wielgomas (Chairman of BIGRAM Personnel Consulting SA – Organiser in Poland). New Age Kings sponsored by KMPS, took second place. They received an invitation to seminary in the series “Authority” which is going to be held by Randy Gage. Finally the third place went to SCAM team sponsored by MarkaPracodawcy.pl.

During the gala organizers also announced the opening of GMC Alumni Club of Poland, sponsored by Orange Poland. The club will associate alumni of the competition and will help to build contacts, exchange the experiences and gain additional knowledge about strategy and management.
