New activities in the 16th edition of the Global Management Challenge

The registration for the 16th edition of the Global Management Challenge is opened. Students and employees are signing up to take part in this world’s largest strategy and management competition.

For the first time in this year edition GMC Poland are organizing special Webinars for all registered participants who wish to broaden their knowledge about the game. Webinars will take place on 26th, 27th, 28th October at 20.00 and will be led by the organizers and finalists of GMC.

Webinars will cover three topics:

  1. Introduction to the competition. History, principles and memories of the finalists who participated in previous editions of the GMC.
  1. Team organization and communication. The benefits of participation in the simulation, the implementation of personal development goals. Organizers will present how to understand the game and how to make good use of the time in the GMC.
  1. GMC Tools – materials and tools that cam be used in the game, inference from the data, communication improvement in the team.

After webinars training stage will start on 29th of October for qualified participants of the competition, then November 12 will begin the first stage.

This year Strategic Partner of GMC Poland is KGHM, while Honorary Partner is the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The best team will represent Poland at the  Final World in Makao.

Participation in the competition has already confirmed such companies as KGHM, Netia, TAURON Poland Energy, Robert Bosch, PGE Capital Group, EDF, Saint –Gobain Group, Atos, Liberty Direct, Top Farms, Aperam, Xelion Investment House, Lingaro.

Students and employees of companies may register respectively to 20 and 25th of October.
