On 30th March the national finals of 15th Polish GMC edition will be held at the Hall of New Connect Stock Exchange in Warsaw.
Eight best teams will be competing with each other to get the title of the best team, represent Poland in international finals (in Prague) and receive postgraduate studies at Koźmiński Univesity. Teams taking part in GMC finals are represented by – 3 company teams: Deloitte (DelloiTTeam), PGE (PGE Przyszłość), Volkswagen Bank (Vision Work) and 5 student teams: SCAM and QWERTU (patronage MasterCard), Inżynierowie Sukcesu (patronage TREND – students magazine), Bukłak (patronage Gazeta Ubezpieczeniowa) and MMKA (patronage BPCC).
The ceremony of announcing the final results will be also held on Warsaw Stock Exchange on 31st March and will be divided into three parts: debate with GMC partners, announcement of the final results followed by award statuettes, and unofficial networking part for the finalists and partners.
The debate “The ideas, capital, technology – How to effectively support the development of Polish start-ups?” is organized on the initiative of MasterCard and will start at 3pm. The debate will be moderated by Wojciech Szeląg, Polsat TV journalist.
During the debate we will focus on support of polish start-ups from high technology sector. We will also talk about the current trends in their development, funding opportunities, trends and market expansion stages. We also want to raise the subject of the industries and areas of the Polish economy, which is still visible the lack of modern technology and innovative solutions. Participation in the debate confirmed: Bartosz Ciołkowski (Managing Director, MasterCard), Magdalena Burnat-Mikosz (Partner, Deloitte), Michał Kramarz (Head of Performance Industries, Google Poland), Dariusz Żuk (CEO, Polska Przedsiębiorcza), Sebastian Grabowski (Director, R&D Center, Orange Poland) GMC partners, Members of Alumni GMC Club, finalists and others guests are invited to the audience.
After the debate we will announce the results of 15th GMC Poland edition. The winner of Polish edition will represent Poland in International Finals in Prague.
