History

In 2001, the second Polish edition of Euromanager took place. It gathered 192 student and corporate teams.

Organization of the second edition was possible thanks to the sponsors: Accenture, Microsoft, Millennium, Plus GSM and Sampo.

On November 8th, 2001, a one-day Domestic Final was held in Sofitel Victoria hotel in Warsaw.

In accordance with the international tradition, the official announcement of the results of the 2nd edition of EUROMANAGER POLAND took place on the same day during a banquet – Gala Dinner.

The final was attended by 7 teams selected from among 192 teams competing in the contest this year. This time, the teams had 1.5 h to make each of the four decisions.

The winner of the 2nd Polish Final of EUROMANAGER POLAND 2001 simulation game was ORIENT EXPRESS – a team of managers of Bombardier Transportation company from Katowice.
