History

In 2000, the Polish students and managers have the first opportunity to join the largest international business simulations. The idea of ​​the Euromanager contest born in 1979 in Portugal at DSG. This company has developed an advanced strategy game in the field of business management in collaboration with the professors of the prestigious business school  Strathclyde University in the UK. In 2000 BIGRAM decided to organize a Polish edition of the project. The contest attracted 155 teams – both managerial and students.

The one-day domestic final was held on November 2nd, 2000 in Jan III Sobieski hotel in Warsaw

In 2000, the Polish students and managers have the first opportunity to join the largest international project-based business simulations. The idea of ​​the contest Euromanager born in 1979 in Portugal at DSG. This company has developed an advanced strategy game in the field of business management in collaboration with the prestigious business school professors Strathclyde University in the UK. In 2000 BIGRAM decided to organize a Polish edition of the project. The contest attracted as many as 155 teams – both managerial and students.

The best six teams participated in the final part of the contest (selected from among 155 teams).
Presented below are the teams, which competed during the final of the first polish edition of the contest EUROMANAGER POLAND 2000″

The winner of the Polish final of the simulation game “EUROMANAGER POLAND 2000”
is the team of students of Warsaw School of Business “OXYGEN” sponsored by “Rzeczpospolita”.

The winners will represent Poland during the international final of
“GLOBAL MANAGEMENT CHALLENGE”
in March 2001 in Portugal
